So the story of sea buckthorn berry is something that took me a while to understand. The majestic and powerful elements inside that tiny forgotten berry have so much to offer to the world and all the ancient remedies have all the cure embedded in them. The stories from the older generation are something I have lived by myself, heard from ancestors and it has confused me, ridiculed me and inspired me eventually that I got into research and got to know a tremendous amount of amazing things that I am bringing it to the world. As Ladakh has a very rich folklore and the narrations that go on from generation to generation not only entertain us but also pass on something to learn and explore. The surrounding in the narration have so much to offer and the secret stories of all the elements in the narration reveal tactics and remedies for so many ailments. I’ve grown up listening to the stories of the importance of sea buckthorn and other holy herbs grown in the mighty Himalayas but little did I know that these can be a life hack for the world right now. The most fascinating thing about sea buckthorn is that it appears in legends from multiple cultures, including ancient Greek mythology, Greek historical legend, and even the histories of the mighty Genghis Khan. Sea buckthorn benefits have been known for a very long time. From Pegasus to the Genghis Khan it has magnificent stories to offer but apart from mythology, the benefits are far more amazing in real life. Apart from the mythological aspects, the importance of this wonder berry is also seen in some religious and medicinal texts.
